cup shredded cheese of your choice We got the best results from parmesan, grana padano and cheddar

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C.

Step 2

g shredded cheese of your choice

oz shredded cheese of your choice

cup shredded cheese of your choice

Add about a tbsp worth of shredded cheese each onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and leave about an inch between the heaps of cheese so the crisps won’t stick together.

Make sure your store-bought shredded cheese doesn’t have added starch, as some brands do this so the cheese won’t stick together.

If you can’t find shredded cheese without starch added, we recommend grating it yourself.

Italian hard cheese like parmesan or grana padano works best and will be the most “chip-like” once baked.

Cheddar also works well, but it has a stronger taste of its’ own.

Mozzarella is not a good choice as it doesn’t really get crispy.

Step 3

(optional) paprika, garlic and chili powder

(optional) paprika, garlic and chili powder

(optional) paprika, garlic and chili powder

(Optional) Sprinkle a bit of paprika, chili, and garlic powder on top of the heaps of cheese to add a little bit of spice.

Step 4

Bake the cheese for about 7 minutes in your preheated oven.

Timing is important, as these little guys tend to get too dark pretty quick.

Step 5

Let the baked keto cheese crisps cool down a bit before enjoying them.

They taste great with selfmade guacamole or salsa!

Storage

We recommend consuming the cheese crisps on the same day, as they’ll taste best then.

If it doesn’t bother you that they’ll lose a bit of crispiness during the days, you can also store them for longer.
