Ingredients

Ingredients for the egg white glaze:

g powdered erythritol

oz powdered erythritol

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 300°F/150°C.

Step 2 – Preparing the cinnamon star cookies

Add the dry cookie ingredients into a large bowl and mix them well.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients as well and knead until you get a smooth dough.

Step 4

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out until it’s about 0.2″/5mm thick.
Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.

Repeat this process until no dough is left.

Step 5

Place the cinnamon stars on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and prepare the egg white glaze.

Step 6 – Preparing the egg white glaze

Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in the powdered erythritol.

Use a pastry brush to brush the cookies with the egg white glaze.

Step 7

Bake the cinnamon star cookies for about 15 minutes in your preheated oven.

Step 8

Let the cookies cool down completely before enjoying them with a hot cup of tea or coffee.

It’s normal if the cookies seem a bit soft when they’re fresh out of the oven.
They will harden up once the cookies cool down.

Storage

Store the low carb cinnamon star cookies in a suitable container – a cookie jar for example.

Consume them within 2 weeks.
