They taste like a mini apple pie, but without the work and the carbs.

Even though apples aren’t exactly low carb, this little treat only adds about 3.2g net carbs to your daily carb count!

1 tsp = 1/2 bean

 tbsp lemon juice One lemon equals about 2 tbsp of lemon juice.

ml heavy cream
 tsp cinnamon
fl oz heavy cream
 tsp cinnamon
cup heavy cream
 tsp cinnamon

Step 1 – Preparing the fat bomb base

Cut the apple into 4 equal-sized pieces and set one piece aside.

Grate the remaining 3 parts and add the grated apple into a small (non-stick) pot.

Step 2

Add the other ingredients for the fat bomb base into the same pot and set the heat to medium.

Stir regularly and let the ingredients simmer for about 4-5 minutes or until you can smell the apple.

Heating the apple intensifies its’ flavor and results in the perfect “apple-pie” aroma.

Step 3

Distribute the “apple pie” mass evenly into silicone cupcake liners and place them in your fridge.

Let the fat bombs chill for about an hour.

Step 4 – Preparing the topping

Cut the piece of apple that you set aside in step 1 into small cubes.

Step 5

  ml heavy cream,  tsp cinnamon

  fl oz heavy cream,  tsp cinnamon

  cup heavy cream,  tsp cinnamon

Beat the cream until stiff and pipe it on top of the apple pie fat bombs.

Sprinkle a bit of the chopped apple and cinnamon on top of the cream.

Storage

The apple pie fat bombs without the topping will be good for up to 3 days if you store it in the fridge.

The topping goes bad faster, that’s why we recommend preparing it fresh on the same day as you intend to eat the fat bombs.
