Ingredients

g plain greek yogurt
g xylitol Xylitol may have a laxative effect, that’s why you shouldn’t eat too much of this recipe at once.

You should also keep it far away from your pets because it is highly toxic to dogs.

tsp vanilla extract You can also use a vanilla bean in exchange.

 tsp xanthan gum

Step 1

g plain greek yogurt, g xylitol, ml heavy cream, tsp vanilla extract,  tsp xanthan gum

oz plain greek yogurt, oz xylitol, fl oz heavy cream, tsp vanilla extract,  tsp xanthan gum

cup plain greek yogurt, cup xylitol, cup heavy cream, tsp vanilla extract,  tsp xanthan gum

Mix all ingredients in a bowl that fits in your freezer.

Step 2

Put the bowl in your freezer.

Wait about 2 hours before stirring the ice cream the first time.

After that, stir every hour or so until your ice cream reaches the desired consistency – in our experience, this is usually the case after 4-5 hours.

Step 3

Enjoy your keto frozen yogurt with a handful of fresh berries.

Keep your portions small at the beginning (not more than one scoop), as xylitol can have a laxative effect.

Storage

You can store the frozen yogurt for quite a while in your freezer, but it tastes best shortly after you made it.

After a while, more and more ice crystals will form and it will become less creamy.
